For me, art brings to life the beauty in the everyday - the commonalities we relate to, those that may touch us and those that may go unnoticed.

Creating a visual experience of this is my inspiration.  As much as the subject itself, I’m intrigued by the relationships; between light and shadow, object and edge, movement and stillness and between the subject and the whole. 

Through my work, I want to resonate feelings of nostalgia, familiarity, and warmth.  I hope to evoke that sense of comfort and connection, and create something beautiful for others to enjoy.
