Yaroslav Leonets is a contemporary artist currently living in Kiev, Ukraine in the midst of the war.
He graduated from Kharkiv Art College, the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, and received his MFA from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv in painting. We are fortunate to have received a small selection of paintings after being contacted by the artist after finding the gallery online. He continues to paint despite, the difficulties of life in war times, including the loss of some of his work from fires as a result of Russian attacks.
